Fitting Instructions
Greentyre supply a range of bushes with their 16” tyre to be sure they fit virtually all barrows currently in use in the UK.
It may be you can use one bush or a combination of two bushes to fit
the 16” Greentyre to your barrow.
Don’t worry as the set of bushes for both sides are provided with the
wheel we send. A bit if trial and error may be required but usually if
you get the axle bore right the combinations to fit your barrow will
become apparent.
The following may help but manufacturers specification regularly change and the list below may not be current and therefore is for guidance only:
Some European barrows use bearings, these pop out of existing wheels and fit the 32mm axle bore without bushes.
Fort wheelbarrows use 25mm axle therefore use bush 1
Haemmerlin wheelbarrows use a combination of bushes 1 and 2 to reduce the axle bore from 32mm to 17mm.
Axle bore of less than 17mm is usually associated with the 14” wheel and not a 16” wheel. All Greentyre 14” wheels come with a 12mm and 25mm axle bore option to fit most Walsall and Haemmerlin/Chillingstone made barrows.
These tyres may fit dinghy launching trailers, garden trolleys and a whole host of other applications but tyres of this type are
